Americans Guilty of Promoting Guns as Source of Power, 'Snoop Lion' Tells Piers Morgan

During Thursday night's edition of CNN's “Piers Morgan Tonight,” the musician previously known as Snoop Dogg told the leftist British host that guns have become a part of everyday life, a fact he laments in a new reggae song entitled “No Guns Allowed.”

We are guilty as Americans of promoting the gun as one of the most highly touted things that you can have in your life,” Calvin Broadus, aka Snoop Lion, told Morgan. “And I felt like I got to the point of my career and my life when I didn't need guns in my life because I didn't project that energy, and I was positive and peaceful.”

Piers Morgan Called 'Wonderful' by Dianne Feinstein the Same Day He Hit New Ratings Low

As the viewers of America continue to tune out his program in droves, CNN host Piers Morgan can at least take solace from the knowing that fellow anti-gun zealot Dianne Feinstein thinks he's a swell guy for being so shamelessly biased.

Honestly, though, that's not much of a consolation considering that the very edition of Morgan's show on which Feinstein gave him the compliment turned out being one of Morgan's lowest-rated episodes ever, drawing only 87,000 viewers in the key 25- to 54-year-old demographic that advertisers crave.

Piers Morgan Shushes Gun Rights Advocate: 'I Suggest You Keep Quiet'

CNN's Piers Morgan bullied gun rights advocate John Lott on his Wednesday night show, repeatedly interrupting him and lecturing him. At one point Morgan told his guest, "I'm going to keep talking, so I suggest you keep quiet."

This is typical Morgan behavior towards gun rights advocates, as he sets up a "debate" but proceeds to badger his guest as much as possible. An exasperated Lott asked "Why am I on?" at one point, and again shot back at Morgan, "You want to go and talk 90 percent of the time."  [Video below the break. Audio here.]

Coulter Column | Liberals Need a New Hobby: Leaving Us Alone!

Having given up on trying to persuade Americans that taking guns away from law-abiding citizens will reduce the murder rate, Democrats have turned to their usual prohibitionary argument: "Why does anyone need (an assault weapon, a 30-round magazine, a semiautomatic, etc., etc.)?"
Phony conservative Joe Manchin, who won his U.S. Senate seat in West Virginia with an ad showing him shooting a gun, said, "I don't know anyone (who) needs 30 rounds in a clip."

CNN's Don Lemon, who does not fit the usual profile of the avid hunter and outdoorsman, demanded, "Who needs an assault rifle to go hunting?"
Fantasist Dan Rather said, "There is no need to have these high-powered assault weapons."

Piers Morgan Demonizes Restaurant Owner Offering Discounts to Gun-Toting Customers

Piers Morgan slimed yet another gun rights advocate, on his Tuesday night show. He lectured and insulted a Virginia restaurant owner who offered discounts to gun-toting customers, calling the promotion "cynical" and "idiotic."

"Mr. Laze, good luck with your promotion. I hope it fails spectacularly," Morgan snarled at the pizza shop owner Jay Laze. Like other Morgan "interviews," he spent his time belitting his guest rather than hosting a real debate. [Video below the break. Audio here.]

Donny Deutsch Asks Piers Morgan: 'When Did You Become Such a Crazy Liberal?'

There's practically nothing as delicious as watching liberals eat their own, especially in the current post-election environment when the Obama-loving media are revelling in Republicans going after one another.

With this in mind, grab some popcorn and your favorite beverage as you watch MSNBC regular Donny Deutsch ask CNN's Piers Morgan Monday, "When did you become such a crazy liberal?" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Dustin Hoffman Praises Piers Morgan: 'God Bless You for What You're Saying About Gun Control'

CNN's Piers Morgan got some love from Hollywood liberal Dustin Hoffman at Sunday's Oscars.

"God bless you for what you're saying about gun control," Hoffman lauded Morgan's incessant gun control advocacy. [Video below the break. Audio here.]

Jimmy Carter Claims He Raised No Money In '76 Election, Piers Morgan Doesn't Challenge Him

Former President Jimmy Carter claimed he didn't raise a dime of money in the 1976 general election and CNN's Piers Morgan wouldn't challenge him on Thursday's Piers Morgan Tonight.

"As a matter of fact, when I ran against incumbent President Gerald Ford, you know how much money we raised? None," Carter bragged to Morgan. According to election law, general election campaigns couldn't take private money if they accepted public financing but Morgan still let Carter off the hook by refusing to question his claim of zero infractions. Wolf Blitzer, Piers Morgan Give Warm Interviews to Jimmy Carter and His Grandson

CNN only had soft questions and praise on Thursday for Jimmy Carter's grandson who had unearthed the tape of Mitt Romney's "47 percent" remarks. Host Wolf Blitzer gave a warm interview to James Carter IV on The Situation Room and Piers Morgan later teed up former President Carter to brag about his grandson on Piers Morgan Tonight.

"How does it make you feel that your grandfather is so proud of what you did? What has he said to you?" Blitzer asked his Democratic guest. "He certainly was proud of you in the interview with Piers Morgan," he gushed. [Video below the break. Audio here.]

Piers Morgan Calls NRA's Wayne LaPierre 'America's Most Dangerous Man'

CNN's Piers Morgan is at it again.

The anti-gun advocate on Twitter Thursday called National Rifle Associate Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre "America's most dangerous man":

Piers Morgan Invokes Trayvon Martin to Push Gun Control; George Zimmerman's Brother Disagrees

CNN's Piers Morgan invoked the death of Trayvon Martin to support his case for gun control, but the brother of Martin's accused shooter George Zimmerman had a retort ready on Tuesday's Piers Morgan Tonight.

"You would accept, would you not, that if your brother had not gone out armed with a gun that day, Trayvon Martin would be celebrating his 18th birthday today," Morgan first pressed Zimmerman.  [Video coming soon. Audio here.]

Ted Nugent to Piers Morgan: 'You're the Perfect Poster Boy to Stand Up for Things That Make No Sense'

CNN's resident gun control advocate Piers Morgan faced off with Ted Nugent Monday, and as was expected, the bullets were flying.

By the end of the first segment, Nugent told his arrogant adversary, "You're the perfect poster boy to stand up for the things that make no sense at all to common sense people" (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary):

Former CNN/U.S. Prez Defends Piers Morgan Hire, Affirms He Wanted Olbermann at Network

The former president of CNN/U.S. doesn't regret bringing Piers Morgan to CNN and reaffirmed his desire to hire Keith Olbermann away from MSNBC in 2010, in an interview with HuffPost Live.

When asked if he regretted hiring Piers Morgan, Jon Klein replied "as a viewer I don't regret it. I mean, I watch him all the time." When pressed about Olbermann, Klein admitted his "foresight" in wanting the liberal host to move to CNN, noting "it would have made things a lot more difficult for MSNBC."

Piers Morgan Scoffs at 'Ravens Being Declared World Champions of Competition Only American Teams Enter'

CNN's Piers Morgan is apparently trying to get another petition started to have him deported.

Shortly after the conclusion of Sunday's Super Bowl, he tweeted, "Got to laugh at Ravens being declared 'World Champions' of a competition only American teams enter":

Kevin Spacey: 'I Wouldn't Mind Piers Morgan Being Deported'

UPDATE AT END OF POST: Morgan tweets this to his followers.

Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey took a humorous swipe at CNN’s Piers Morgan on CBS’s Late Show Friday.

While impersonating the late Johnny Carson at the request of host David Letterman, Spacey said of Morgan, “I wouldn't mind him being deported” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Piers Morgan Pushes Gun Control on The Tonight Show

Speaking on a different show but making the same tired liberal points, CNN's Piers Morgan hit the American "mentality" on guns and attacked the NRA on Thursday's The Tonight Show. Of course, Morgan probably reached more of an audience at NBC than on his own CNN show.

"And the crucial thing in America now is you've got to somehow change the mentality and the culture to reduce the number of guns," the liberal CNN host insisted, pointing to other countries as an argument in favor of gun control. [Video below the break. Audio here.]

Chelsea Handler Tells Piers Morgan 'You Can Suck My A--!'

CNN's Piers Morgan had a rather vulgar exchange with E! Entertainment's Chelsea Handler Wednesday night.

After the host of Chelsea Lately told her guest, "You can suck my a--," he responded, "That was exactly what I was going to suggest" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Piers Morgan Hassles Sheriff Who Encourages Citizens to Arm Themselves

Continuing to harass pro-gun advocates, CNN's Piers Morgan attacked a Wisconsin sheriff who had encouraged citizens to own a firearm for self-defense. Morgan interrupted his guest repeatedly and tried to frame him as a loony Wild West gunman.

"What you're creating is a return to the Wild West in Milwaukee," Morgan insisted on Tuesday night's Piers Morgan Tonight. "You do these racy, Hollywood-style adverts. You want them all out there armed and shooting." [Video below the break. Audio here.]

Changes at CNN as Carville, Matalin, Bennett, Erickson, Whitaker Ousted

When Jeff Zucker became president of CNN earlier this month, some people in the mainstream media feared that this might be the end of “the last bastion of television journalism” since the former head of NBC Universal was expected to make many significant changes in the network personnel and schedule.

Those changes took off on Tuesday, when ABC's Chris Cuomo, who had served as the news anchor on “Good Morning America” from 2006 to 2009 and then moved on to the "20/20" prime-time program, was reported to “have a major role in a new CNN morning show and across the network, anchoring and reporting on major events.”

Fox's Bret Baier Quotes NB's Sheppard on Why Obama Loves Going on 60 Minutes

As NewsBusters reported, CBS's Steve Kroft told CNN's Piers Morgan Monday that President Obama likes going on 60 Minutes because "he knows that we're not going to play gotcha with him."

On Tuesday, Fox News's Bret Baier quoted NewsBusters associate editor Noel Sheppard's opinion on this matter (video follows with transcript):

CBS's Kroft on Why Obama Does 60 Minutes: 'He Knows We're Not Going To Play Gotcha With Him'

CBS's Steve Kroft made a statement Monday that totally epitomizes liberal media bias in the modern era.

Speaking to CNN's Piers Morgan about his interview with Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the previous evening's 60 Minutes, Kroft said the President likes doing his show because "he knows that we're not going to play gotcha with him" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Rupert Murdoch: 'Let's Have Petition To Keep Piers Morgan In U.S.'

CNN's Piers Morgan got support from a surprising source Saturday.

22-Year-Old Woman Schools Piers Morgan: I Need an AR-15 to ‘Have Enough Ammo to Get the Job Done’

In the weeks following the massacre in Newtown, Connecticut, CNN's Piers Morgan has been arrogantly claiming - on seemingly a nightly basis - that no one needs an AR-15.

On his show Thursday, Morgan got a much-needed education on the subject from 22-year-old Celia Bigelow who explained, "I want a gun that can hold a lot of ammo because if I'm faced with an intruder or multiple intruders that come into my home, I want to make sure I have enough ammo to get the job done, especially if they're armed" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Rush Limbaugh: It's Comical to Listen to the Abject Ignorance of People Like Piers Morgan

"It's just comical to listen to the abject, proudly, raise-your-hand-high-in-the-air ignorance of people like Piers Morgan."

So stated conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh Friday (video follows courtesy Daily Rushbo with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary):

Gingrich Schools Gun-Grabbing Piers Morgan: 'Isn't Your Real View That You Would Ban Pistols?'

Newt Gingrich on Thursday night interrogated the gun-grabbing Piers Morgan, pushing the CNN host as to what his real motives are. An aggressive Gingrich insisted, "So, why don't you share your real view?...Isn't your real view that you would ban pistols if you could?" [See video below. MP3 audio here.] The Republican also told the British anchor why the Founding Fathers were able to defeat "your army."

Morgan swore that his concern was "the high-powered guns of any variety which can fire 30 or 40 or more rounds in less than a minute." He added, "...That would be my primary concern right now." The former Speaker pounced, "Right now? Okay, right now." Gingrich lectured, "The reason you find so many of us very reluctant to go down this road is we believe each step down this road leads to the next step and the next step and the next step."

Piers Morgan Accuses GOP of 'Misogyny,' 'Political Grandstanding' at Clinton Hearing

Could Piers Morgan be any more of an Obama hack? After Republicans grilled Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over the Benghazi attacks on Wednesday, Morgan unloaded on their criticism as "political grandstanding" showing "a whisper of misogyny."

"I've been listening to the Republicans getting on their high horse about this for a long time. Now I've thought a lot of today's criticism was political grandstanding in many ways," said the CNN host who has done plenty of grandstanding of his own from his high horse on gun control. [Video below the break. Audio here.]

Piers Morgan in Trouble Again: ‘I’ve Never Met Any Latinos Who Can’t Dance’

Open mouth, insert foot. Just when it seemed that Piers Morgan was finally putting his ineffective crusade for stricter gun control behind him, the CNN anchor made an obviously stereotypical remark while covering an inaugural ball in Washington, D.C., on Monday evening.

At the end of an interview with Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro and his identical twin brother, San Antonio mayor Julian Castro, the liberal host asked: “By the way, I've never met any Latinos who can't dance, so are you guys going to be -- ?”

Sorry Dan and Piers, There's a Need for an AR-15 Rifle

The scary-looking "military style" AR-15 has been the target of the hyper-emotional left in the media ever since the Newtown shooting.  Most notably, Piers Morgan tried to take conservative commentator and CNN contributor Dana Loesch to task for owing one.  Last night, Dan Rather said on Morgan's show that,"there is no need to have these high-powered assault weapons."

But as it turns out, an AR-15 is an eminently sensible firearm for home defense, particularly for young women as Celia Bigelow and Aubrey Blankenship of American Majority Action explain in a January 23 piece at National Review Online:

Dan Rather Declares 'There's No Excuse to Have an Assault Weapon'

On his Tuesday night town hall-style show, CNN's Piers Morgan openly pushed for more gun control and liberal journalist Dan Rather chimed in that "there's no excuse to have an assault weapon."

Morgan determined that civilians don't need high-capacity magazines. "So what do you need them for? You don't need them to defend yourself. You're going to spray gun people who come to steal a television set, is he?" [Video below the break. Audio here.]

CNN Hosts Wowed by Obama's Second Inaugural Address

During President Obama's second inaugural address on Monday, some CNN hosts couldn't hold back their amazement on Twitter.

"Obama sounding more and more like Martin Luther King as this speech goes on - powerful, rousing rhetoric. #inauguration," tweeted Piers Morgan.
