Rolling Stone: America Should Replace Capitalism With Socialism

The next time you wonder just how far to the left Rolling Stone magazine is, consider that in its first issue of the new year, it actually published an article calling for capitalism to be totally abolished in America and replaced with a socialist structure wherein people didn't need to work, all assets were taken over by the government, and redistributed to the masses.

Fasten your seatbelts before continuing further:

Buchanan: ‘There Is an Inherent Conflict of Interest Between Journalists and Whistleblowers’

On Thursday, the New York Times called for the Obama administration to enter into a plea bargain or offer clemency to National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden in order to bring him back to the United States.

Melissa-Harris Perry Cries During On-Air Apology to Romney Family

As NewsBusters previously reported, MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry and a panel of comedians last weekend senselessly mocked a picture of former Governor Mitt Romney’s family because it included his adopted black grandson.

Although she’s already apologized on Twitter, Harris-Perry began her show Saturday with a heartfelt apology much of the time fighting through a lump in her throat and tears (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Actress Who Mocked Pearl Harbor Survivors on New Year's Eve: 'I’m Not Sorry'

On Wednesday, NewsBusters was the first to expose NBC's New Year's Eve show for mocking Pearl Harbor survivors as only able to eat SpaghettiOs.

On Friday, Natasha Leggero, the vulgar actress/comedienne at the heart of this disgraceful episode, responded via Tumblr telling her readers, "I'm not sorry" (serious vulgarity warning though edited):

Kurtz: 'Has MSNBC Developed a Culture in Which Harsh Personal Attacks Are Encouraged?'

Following Melissa Harris-Perry's smear on Mitt Romney's adopted black grandson - the third in a series of recent high-profile faux pas by MSNBC hosts - Fox News media analyst Howard Kurtz asked a question Friday whose answer appears to definitively be "Yes."

"[H]as the channel developed a culture in which harsh personal attacks are encouraged, or at least tolerated?"

NYT's David Brooks: 'I Smoked Marijuana. It Was Fun'

Can you imagine the slightly-right of center yet seemingly always stoic New York Times columnist David Brooks smoking pot?

No, I can't either, but found his piece in Friday's Times on this subject rather bold for a supposedly conservative pundit to come out of  the weed closet in order to denounce its legalization:

NYT: De Blasio Inauguration Speakers Were 'Graceless and Smug'

One would have expected the folks at the New York Times to be almost orgasmic witnessing leftist after leftist bash former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg at the inauguration of Bill de Blasio whilst touting income equality as the best thing since sliced bread.

Quite surprisingly, such wasn't the case Friday when the Times editorial board accused some of the speakers of being "graceless and smug":

Phil Robertson Rumored to be Moving Duck Dynasty to a Christian Channel

The war between Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson and A&E might not be over.

According to a report at the Daily Mail, the Robertson patriarch is looking into ways to move the hit program about his family to "a Christian channel more in keeping with his views."

The primetime ratings of the self-proclaimed "Most trusted name in news" reached 20-year lows in 2013.

TIME: 'Men Are Obsolete: Five Reasons We Are Definitely Witnessing The End of Men'

In 2006, New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd published a book with the inflammatory title "Are Men Necessary?"

Eight years later, feminist author Hanna Rosin wrote a piece for TIME magazine Thursday with the substantially more inflammatory title "Men Are Obsolete: Five Reasons We Are Definitely Witnessing The End of Men":

In an op-ed published at the New York Times, Moore wrote, "Obamacare is awful."

NBC New Year’s Eve Mocks Pearl Harbor Survivors As Only Able to Chew SpaghettiOs

On Pearl Harbor Day, Campbell’s got in a lot of trouble when it tweeted out a picture of its SpaghettiOs mascot holding an American flag and asking people to "take a moment to remember #PearlHarbor with us."

On NBC’s “New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly,” actress and comedienne Natasha Leggero disgustingly joked, “It sucks that the only survivors of Pearl Harbor are being mocked by the only food they can still chew” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Obama Pollster Wishes Press Wouldn't Report Polls Next Year

According to Politico's Mike Allen, Joel Benenson hopes "playbookers" will "[g]o one year without reporting any public polling data."

As NewsBusters previously reported, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews devoted his entire Christmas Eve Hardball show to mercilessly attacking eleven conservatives with the assistance from a panel of some of the most conservative-hating liberals in the nation.

The folks at MSNBC must have really liked this show, for they actually reran it in its entirety Monday.

Rep King: NYT Trying to ‘Help Hillary Clinton’ and Take Benghazi Issue Away From GOP in 2016

As NewsBusters previously reported, the New York Times on Sunday published a controversial front page piece about the events surrounding last September's attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya. It immediately evoked harsh criticism from House Intelligence Committee chairman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) who said on Fox News Sunday, "[T]hat story is just not accurate."

On Monday, Congressman Peter King (R. N.Y.), the chairman of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Counterintelligence and Terrorism, shared Rogers' disgust with the Times while telling Newsmax TV's Steve Malzberg the paper is trying to "help Hillary Clinton and also to take an issue away from Republicans no matter who the Democratic nominee is" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Bill Clinton Sends Larry King a 'Lovely Holiday Gift'

Is it appropriate for former presidents married to a woman likely running for president to buy members of the media presents?

While you ponder the question, consider the following tweet from Larry King Monday thanking Bill Clinton for "the lovely holiday gift":

ABC's Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts came out as gay Sunday.

She did so in a lengthy Facebook post commemorating the one year anniversary of her successfully surviving 100 days following her bone marrow transplant in 2012:

On Sunday's Reliable Sources, vulgar comedienne Kathy Griffin - who will once again be co-hosting CNN's New Year's Eve special this year despite kissing Anderson Cooper's crotch on air last year! - actually asked new host Brian Stelter, "Have you ever spooned with Candy Crowley?...You might get a better time slot" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

The New York Times on Sunday published a highly controversial report claiming the September 2012 attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, did not involve al Qaeda, and was as the Administration originally stated a spontaneous demonstration in response to an American-made anti-Islamic video.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) completely refuted the article saying, "[T]hat story is just not accurate" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

MSNBC’s Dyson: ‘Phil Robertson and Duck Dynasty Part of Majority White Supremacist Culture’

It appears that MSNBC is becoming a 24-hour race-baiting network.

On MSNBC’s Now Friday, king race-baiter Michael Eric Dyson said, “Phil Robertson and the Duck Dynasty is part of a majority white supremacist culture that either consciously or unconsciously incubates hatred toward those who are different” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Bristol Palin: 'Warning: You Might Lose IQ Points By Watching This MSNBC Clip'

GLAAD: 'A&E Has Chosen Profits Over African American and Gay People'

In his first interview following Friday's announcement by A&E that it was ending the suspension of Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson, Jesse Jackson said, "I do not feel good about it."

Speaking with Newsmax TV's Steve Malzberg, Jackson not surprisingly misrepresented Robertson's words falsely claiming, "[H]e talked about how happy blacks were under segregation, how the Civil Rights movement interfered with their happiness" (video follows with transcript and commentary): 'Remains Deeply Concerned' With A&E Following Robertson's Return to Duck Dynasty

As NewsBusters reported Friday, A&E withdrew its suspension of Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson allowing him to return to the show next year.

Yet Chris Stone, the founder of Faith Driven Consumer as well as the creator of the Robertson-supporting website, said in a statement Friday that he "remains deeply concerned over unanswered questions" regarding the matter:
